Thank you for pointing this out. I hope everyone reads the conditions and bids accordingly. To get it free you have to enter a winning bid.
Now, go for it!
Thank you for pointing this out.
Thanks, Travis: I probably wouldn't have seen this one without your post.
Thanks for posting about this, Travis.
To get it free you have to enter a winning bid.
Since a winning bid will be an order of $ 0.00, placing a bid for $ 17 is a viable option.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Well it suddenly crossed over at $2. Not sure I believe this since we have seen errors on CP before.
And its back to $7. Also its lower on the production scale now than before.. *shrug* cp is a giant mystery sometimes.. [:P]
I've already received an email saying that my bid was successful and that it was going for $2.00 at this point, but will close on June 27th.
Then on the Community Bid page, it says it closes on the 27th as well, even though it is below 60%.
Strange indeed.
Logos sure knows how to teach people how community pricing works, you really could not make this up.
Your are not the only one. [:^)]
It's times like this that I like to remind myself that most things Logos does are done well.
Just when I thought we might get this in a very short period of time, I received and email today saying the closing date was an error. [:(]
Ad still says get it free upon shipping, so I'm in....
I have watched this approach 60% at least 3 times, only to be pushed back to 40% or below. This is one of the stranger ones. I guess people dumped it after they said its not going for $2. Maybe they missed the $0 point.
This should have crossed in record time, its a free book. Not sure why its going up and down so much.
Not sure why its going up and down so much.
Most likely because Logos changed the estimated production cost.
Not sure why its going up and down so much. Most likely because Logos changed the estimated production cost.
Either that, or they need to keep it there for longer, as bait for new users to learn to bid on CP perhaps?
Technically, I think the way to do that is to change the estimated production cost.[:)]
Wish more CP's looked like this:
It may close tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath They would have be better off ($) accepting the 2 dollar bids weeks ago!
So, this keeps staring me in the face as "under contract" every time I visit my "Open Pre-Pubs" page. Remember this? It was pushed to introduce people to how community pricing works. I guess in a way it does do that.
Does anyone have any idea as to when/if this will "ship"? What year, even?
Yes, I have been "under contract" since July 2014. As it is a freebie, guess we don't have much of a say on the delivery date.
Yes, I've been waiting and hoping for this also. I think the point has been made concerning how CP works and that release dates can be a few months to a few years. We understand. Can we have this resource now? [:)]
Yes, community pricing is building patience in our community [:)]
I too am wondering when this will finally ship.
I think this deserves a bump; this is supposed to ship on May 8.
Not sure if whining helped or not. [A]
