Left Column vs. Right Column

This is a slight preference of mine but when I open a new resource in my library on the launch of the app it always (recently) defaults to opening on the right hand column. I would prefer (like it used to) for the resource to open on the left hand column. Any ideas on how to change that? I can't tell if I switched a default or if the app updates did it.

You can't. All you can do is to open by dragging, instead of by clicking.

It was an update some time ago.

I agree the default is annoying, wish there were some way to override it. They don't have to change it, just give us a choice to action on our preference.

I'd call the lack of option a bug if I didn't think it was on purpose.

Ah yes, I sometimes label problems "design bug" when I expect the answer "by design" even if it doesn't work (or doesn't work well). But I've been hitting a patch where things of importance to me are actually getting fixed - the flags controlling cross-references, the Bible priorities on the lectionary layout . . .
