Upgrade to new data sets
Hey guys!
I am new to logos and want to buy the SDA starter packet, but I noticed that there are hardly any data sets. What are the options of getting more data sets? As I understand you can not buy them individually. I know if I buy a higher package I get more. What happens if though if I buy logos 4 core and do a minimal crossgrade to 5 and have the starter packet. Will that work?

Try this link https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=datasets The first three contain your options. Unfortunately, you will need the Logos 4 Minimal Crossgrade and one of the Logos 5 crossgrades

Will the upgrade really work? I just read:
"The Logos 4 Minimal Crossgrade is designed only for users who are coming from a Logos 3/Libronix base package. For all the new features and data sets of Logos 5, you will also need to purchase the Logos 5 Minimal Crossgrade. If you already have a Logos 4 base package, you only need to purchase the Logos 5 Minimal Crossgrade."
I don't have Logos 3.
The software looks great.... just wish it weren't so expensive

There really should be a few universal dataset packages with dynamic pricing that upgrades users from whatever package they have (or none) to one of several levels of functionality. Buy the L4 crossgrade then L5 crossgrade are hoops that users should not be required to jump through at this point.

Yes they will. They add datasets and feature to your licence.

I will try contacting sales rep. Maybe I will just go with the Gold package as there are some books I really like in there. Otherwise Crossgrade it is.

You may also like to know that if you buy a base package, then you can get any/all of the bundles at 50% off.

In that case, make sure you buy the package before any crossgrade. It will be more expensive otherwise.
