Searching a single word in iOS
I tried to search for the word "sufficiency" on my iPad but find that all variations of the word are included.
Is there any way to shut this off and ONLY search for the actual word that I entered?

No. And it drives me crazy that they haven't enhanced searching in such a long time.

Thanks! If they just allowed us to do wildcard searches so that one could restrict a search to a specific word that would be great. As it is the search function is virtually useless.Todd Phillips said:No. And it drives me crazy that they haven't enhanced searching in such a long time.

Prefix the term with a +, e.g. +sufficiency, to get exact matches.

Thanks. Is that a new feature? I don't remember it being discussed before.

It looks like the current behavior of + was introduced in 5.2 of the desktop code, so it would have become available on mobile shortly after that shipped.
