There is something wrong with the CP freebie

https://www.logos.com/product/43108/paul-a-servant-of-jesus-christ
This CP freebie has been on the top of the bestselling products page on CP. That means (if I understand it correctly) that there are more people on this product than on Witheringtons course or even the dictionary of the bible.
If we than take into account that for the dictionary of the bible it would have been over the top for quite a while now if people bid 7 dollars/volume. It is amazing to me that this is still stuck on 50 percent. Is it possile Logos estimated the cost to produce this book a bit to high? how many people does it require to take this over the top? (the book is second bestselling of all Logos products.... please this does not make sense...)

Since it's a freebie to showcase how CP works (especially for people who never used CP before) I think Logos felt free to set the production cost at a level that ensures the book remains in CP long enough to fulfill the "training goal".

doesn't sound fair to me (doesn't sound like the way Logos would behave either).
Plus, I assume Logos is not trying to get out the message that CP takes forever before you get the book...

Extending the CP voting period a bit won't make much of a difference: Once a resource gets out of CP it still typically takes months until it's released. Logos might have the preproduction work done on it already but that's not likely.Plus, I assume Logos is not trying to get out the message that CP takes forever before you get the book...

Plus when they KNOW they're going to produce the book, they already have it in production while the CP is still going. I wouldn't be surprised if it ships right after it 'goes over the top' (finishes the training period).

Last time we got a free CP, it took them almost a year to produce it...

Okay, I will probably be wrong on the time shipping is allowed to take. Nevertheless this is not right. Or the "bestselling" page is wrong, or Logos is doing some creative math on the cast of this book.
I am not really yearning for this book, but I am surprised about the supposed amount of people that has joined the CP and the low percentage of the costs covered.

Suppose it's something to do with trying to meet the projected cost by taking the number of people subscribed times the ZERO price? [;)]

Now that is a scary thought! [:O] It will never get into production. [:(] On the other hand [think Tevye from Fiddler on the Roof] for free I am immensely grateful and could wait forever. [:#] On the other hand....wait, I only have two hands. [Y][Y] I better stop now. [H]
