Crash after a few second of running on Mac

Hi,

I suddenly have Logos crash on me each time I start it up. It all seems to be fine, all windows are displayed, but then without touching it, Logos disappears.

When I start Logos without a layout, it runs. Once it runs, I can even load a layout and it runs fine. However, the next time I start up Logos, it crashes again.

It is Logos 5 on a new MacBook Pro.

I already followed the steps described at

i.e., I reinstalled Logos and checked the Fonts. Reinstallation did not help. Font check did not show any issues.

What do you have Logos set to open to? A specific layout?

Yes, the crash happens if I open Logos to a layout. However, if I start Logos without any files open and then load the same layout, it does not crash. So I am not sure if it is the layout or not.

Is the layout complicated? You could try reconstructing the layout.

System.IO.IOException: Too many open files

It could be because of the number of complex collection rules you have, resulting in the creation of many temporary result files, but does it load the same layout OK when you start from a blank layout?

EDIT: I see it is not the layout, but can you upload logs when you load the layout after starting from Blank?

I closed some of the resources, especially the ones that might open other resources, such as the Faithlife Videos. And now Logos works again.
