Cannot highlight in or copy from NET bible notes in the iPad app

In the iPad app, cannot highlight or copy in the translator's notes sections.
I know that you can't copy inline footnotes, but if you press the superscript letter, you should be able to copy in the popup. As for highlighting, I don't think that highlighting in footnotes is available anywhere in logos (either mobile or desktop).

which is a really unbelievable design gap - given that Logos specializes in bible study resources (mainly commentaries) that are full of footnotes and often contain the finer details of exegetical arguments etc. in the footnotes.
I think there's a petition on uservoice page #1 asking for this feature since I know of uservoice....

Thanks to everyone for the help! At least I can copy now. However, it would be great if Logos could fix this issue. Highlighting is important...
That said, I LOVE the performance fix for highlighting on the iPad app!!!!! Thank you...
