How do I change the Default Search Guide?

When I search from the home screen, click "Go" and it take me to "Passage Guide" (left column), Bibles versions (middle column top pane), Commentaries (middle column bottom pane), Informaiton (right column top pane), and Tex Comparison (right column bottom pane).

I'd like to adjust the pane sizes, the default 5 Bible versions, default Commentaries.

I've created my own Guide and called it "My Passage Guide" but it's not the default when I do my search.

Any idea?

You can't change the default layout. I'm not sure why your My Passage Guide isn't being used. What platform are you on and what version are you running?

Just jumping in on this thread. I am having the same problem with My Passage Guide not coming up as the default search guide.

I'm running the most recent Logos 5 updates as of today, on Win 7.

Thanks for any ideas on how to force My Passage Guide to come up as the default!

I'm running latest Logos 5 on Windows 8.1. This has been my issue since running on Windows 7.

I had no problem with my custom Guides appearing - check the linked wiki and ensure the name does not contain quotes. Otherwise upload a screenshot of the Guide Template.

I'd like to adjust the pane sizes, the default 5 Bible versions, default Commentaries.

You can adjust the layout, but changes won't be retained unless you save it as a Layout (in Layouts menu) and use that layout to input your passages instead of starting from the Home page. You'll also have to link the two Guides to set A.

You need to prioritize your top 6 Commentaries and top 5 Bibles to complete the customisation. Note that these changes will be implemented if you keep using the Home Page.

Thanks for all your help. After managing my prioritization, I'm getting exactly what I wanted. I found that I don't even need to create "My Passage Guide" since I have now have control over the default "Passage Guide".

I like starting my Logos at the Home page instead of my custom layout, so the column sizes is still an issue, but no big deal. I just like to give more space on the Biblical text and references below instead of so much space to Passage Guide.

Thanks. I think a restart of the Logos fixed it. My Passage Guide loaded fine. Once I specified my preferred resources in prioritization, I don't need a separate guide anymore. The default is fine for me. Thanks again.
