Systematic Methodology

Hey there.

So I've been attempting to create a very systematic and efficient approach to using Logos in my Bible Study. To that end, I've started using the methods layed out in LearnLogos' "Best Practices" dvd for Logos 5. This is a great 'system' for studying the Bible verse by verse and pericope by pericope.

Does anyone know of any similar resources that teach a systematic methodology for studying by subject, theology or doctrine?

I've started using the methods layed out in LearnLogos' "Best Practices" dvd for Logos 5.

Can you provide a direct link to the DVD to which you're referring, on the LearnLogos site? The only "Best Practices" item I found on the site was for Logos 4. I know that it should pretty much be directly applicable to Logos 5, but if there's a Logos 5-specific "Best Practices" training series, I'd prefer it.

Of these, the following is the only one that proposes a systematic methodology for studying by subject, theology, or doctrine (the others might suggest that studying by topic is a good way to study the Bible and show you how to approach that study once you've picked a topic, but leave you up to your own resources to pick topics to study):

Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, that is the correct DVD set. The third DVD of that bundle is the Best Practices dvd. There is no specific mention of 'pericope by pericope' on the site. However, the ENTIRE 10 step "Best Practices" process is a step by step guide of suggested means of setting up and using Logos to study Matthew 13:1-23. So, repeating these steps with any pericope is what the "Best Practices" is all about.
