I didn't see any release notes for this version that came out 7/7/2014, but I have some comments.
Thank you for your continous series of updates to iOS. I originally tried your mobile app version for Android and eventually gave up due to it being so slow. The iOS version is perfectly fast. Dont' take the following comments wrong, but when so much is so near perfect, the minor issues show up maybe too clearly.
The app is getting better and it is becoming more usable. I like being able to give resources a star rating and then sort the resources in the library page by this rating. This finally makes it possible to organize large numbers of books into the order you want. But this still has some usability limitations in it. For example, you cannot put the star rating in from the app, but have to use your PC to do that. Also the PC version and app version only allows up to five stars. It would nice to be able to have up to ten stars so that you could have a bit more control over the order of books it shows. Even with this feature however, the library page is kind of weak, but even this small improvement revolutionizes how efficiently I can get to a book.
Another hard to use feature is its devotionals. It cannot remember where you are in the devotional. If you keep the app open, it does remember, but if you close the app, it will jump from your location to the devotion for today's date. [I just figured out I can press the < (back) button, and it will go to where I was before being auto-positioned to today. This was not a very discoverable feature.] There are two ways to open a devotional, one is through the home page and the other is through the library page. I would have expected to see the home page entry jump you to today's date, and the library page place you where you left off - so that you have a choice in how you open your devotional.
Finally, it has a nagware popup that occasionally asks you if you love the app, and wants you to write a review - which I was finally nagged into doing. I hope it will stop asking me to do this now.

What Android device were you using? Current Android devices can be up to 50 times faster than those from just 2 years ago.
For example, you cannot put the star rating in from the app, but have to use your PC to do that.
This is a known issue - we just haven't implemented it (along with some other related resource metadata features).

This is working as designed.

Hi Kevin, I appreciate your feedback. I was using the original Nexus 7 tablet. I suspect at least partly it was slow because its flash was nearly full. It seemed to respond more quickly after I uninstalled the Logos library and app before I sold it. I am very happy with the iOS version, and realize the new iPad mini with A7 chip is a lot faster hardware. My comment about the devotional issue is very minor now that I discovered that I can use the back button to return to my reading position. -Eric
