I want to make a Collection for Sermon Resources in my Library.
I want books that have sermons that i can study, not just a sermon guide.
These two rules were extracted from this page. http://wiki.logos.com/Example_Collections You could copy and paste them as is, or modify them to suit your needs.
Rule: (title:preach, title:sermon, title:homiletical) -type:commentary -author:pentecost -mytag:biog -author:bunyan -title:devotions
Rule: (title:sermon OR subject:sermons) -subject:homiletic -subject:preaching -title:”how to” -subject:illustrations -title:exposition
1. Use the rules above.
2. Open your LIBRARY in a seperate window alongside of the Collections window
3. See if there are any other resources you need that the rule didn't catch.
4. Click and drag from Library into the "+ Plus These Resources" in the Collection window.
I'm try this (title:preach OR subject:preaching, title:sermon OR subject:sermons, title:homiletical OR subject:homiletic) -type:commentary -author:pentecost -author:bunyan -title:devotions
I use the following:
type:monograph subject:sermons -subject:(outlines,illustrations,homiletical)
It deliberately excludes sermons that have been bound as commentaries. Remove the type:monograph if you want to remove that restriction.
