What would be a good way to search Logos 5 resources to find thoughts on where different races of people came from after the Flood during Noah's time?
Do you mean ethnic groups? A rough search turns up nothing meaningful re: race.
I'd try a search like (racial, races, ethnic) (differentiation, differences, diversity) flood
This article might be of some help: "The Peoples of the Old Testament according to Genesis 10" (Bibliotheca Sacra 154:613, Jan 1997)
It starts: "The origin of the human race and its incredibly diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural expression is one of the most profound and perplexing problems confronting contemporary anthropological, sociological, and biblical scholarship. Related to this are issues of the emergence of the human species, the development and distribution of languages, and the rise of ethnic, social, and cultural differentiations."
There is also "What Is the Origin of the Different Races?" in Got Questions? Bible Questions Answered.
If you have The Genesis Flood: Continents in Collision, you will find that Chapter 10 is called "The Origin of the Races," so it might be of interest to you.
That's just a few of the many relevant hits in my library. Your mileage may vary.
Don't neglect to do a Google search for "origin of races" as you'll find other stuff that way.
Do you mean ethnic groups?
Well put.
It's not in Logos, and I can't comment on its accuracy, but there is this which I have in paperback (and also available here).
In Logos, I'd recommend searching for "table of nations" (race, racial, ethnic)
Thank all of you for your help.
