I am asking all of us to stop the bashing of individuals who we disagree with, name calling, insulting remarks, character asasination, even if it is true.

We can report bugs and our frustration, but seek to be positive in conveying the message.

This is aimed at no one in particular, just a request.

Agreed - his legacy was one of positivity. I don't think I ever saw a sharply worded post from him. I'm in on this.

Rosie, I offer this post in loving memory of a dear Logos friend. I hope he has imparted his spirit to each and everyone of the Logosians he has come to influence. I saw this online and I immediately thought of him. He is the true embodiment of it's message.

I won't break the rules by posting the link but, will give enough information for it to be found. The title is Excellence: The Character of God and the Pursuit of Scholarly Virtue by Andreas J. Kostenberger. It is bargain priced in Kindle format. I looked and it is unfortunately not available in either Logos or Vyrso format. Enjoy my friends and colleagues.

This is Johanna, Milford Murrays daughter. I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for your message and also for leaving contact details. I would very much appreciate it if you could pass on a message to the larger Logos community to say thank you to all those who took the time to post the many kind and beautiful messages. It really touched us and I know my father would have been humbled. Despite his quirks, he was a wonderful man who loved his Lord (and loved his Logos *smile* and the fellowship he had with his online friends). We are grateful for those of that community that shared such lovely comments about him. I know he is in his heavenly home, but please continue to remember his family in your prayers as we come to terms with this immense loss. Yours in Christ

Just now I learned about our dear brother Milford going to be with the Lord. There are many wonderful people here in the forums but no one has really the same combination of childlike faith and humor on one hand and wisdom and nobleness on the other hand. I will miss him very much. Every time he addressed me directly, I took it as honor.

I've been away from the forums and just saw that Milford passed. I will deeply miss him. I usually skimmed the posts to see which ones interested me, but I got to the point that I always stopped to read Milford's whether they were about a topic that I was interested in or not because he was so encouraging and gracious. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him on the forums. Future Logosians will have missed out on a great blessing. Maybe someone else can embody the gracious spirit of Milford and be the constant voice of encouragement.

I was in church this morning and we were reading through Hebrews 11. Low and behold, Milford had inserted a community note alongside Hebrews 11:3. It was fitting that such a kind man of faith would leave a note on this passage...I smiled the rest of the service knowing that he is with our Lord. I am not a "regular" here, but even with my sporadic participation, his gracious ways touched me. His example and voice will be missed here, but I look forward to meeting him in eternity. Heaven is rejoicing at his homecoming!

I just saw this post this morning. Milford - son of encouragement, friend to all. Eph 4:29-5:2 are words that come to mind. He will be missed. May his loved ones all be comforted.
