Notes are getting lost...
I have recently acquired a decent bluetooth keyboard and so started taking notes for sermons and daily journals using that rather than my MacBook Pro. I open it today to find that yesterday and the day before my journal entries are gone. I am sure I was on wifi. I can look up past notes created on my MacBook, and the notes from the two days ago were there only yesterday.
I am using the most recent version of the app and running ios7.

Hi Craig
Sorry to hear you are having problems.
Can you clarify a few things please?
- Why do you think they are missing? And I know that sounds like a strange question. I'm trying to understand how you are searching for them
- Do you mean that the notes you created on your iPad aren't visible on your iPad, your MacBook or both?
- Have you lost individual notes within a notes document or an entire notes document (or multiples)?
- Are the notes visible if you go to https://documents.logos.com/

FYI - the web site also lists those days and notes as blank - the headers are there, but the body of the notes are missing. With that info on hand I can only guess the notes are completely lost.

In which case before making any more changes to your notes I would contact Logos Customer Services and see if they can help.

I've no idea why they are missing. I closed the app yesterday - notes are there. Today - gone.
These notes, specifically from one doc for the past two days, are gone period. They are not on the logos website under my documents, and I am not able to check my mac yet. But I would think they are not there since I have not used logos there in two days.
I have only lost individual notes.
Thanks -

Very strange
As above, I would recommend contacting Logos Customer Services and see if they can help

I went to support and they did not ask any questions that I was not asked here. I think the issue lies in when and how my iPad is syncing up the notes. I notice that if I create a note and then close the app after selecting "DONE" that I can reopen the app and find the note blank. I also notice that I can seemingly create issues by switching back and forth from logos on iPad and logos on MacBook Pro.
I guess my question is this: how do I know for certain, without the tedious task of going to the logos website, do I know that my notes have been synced and will save? FInding sermon or journal notes missing renders the feature quite useless...0 -

I was wondering if support would be able to restore your notes in any way.

But in your original post you referred to notes two days old disappearing which doesn't seem like a sync issue - unless I misunderstood what you said.
I notice that if I create a note and then close the app after selecting "DONE" that I can reopen the app and find the note blank
When you say you "close the app" do you mean that you just exit the app or you force exit the app so it is forced to close?
I've just done a test and it seems to take less than three seconds for the notes entry to appear on documents.logos.com after pressing "Done"
I also notice that I can seemingly create issues by switching back and forth from logos on iPad and logos on MacBook Pro.
Can you expand on this a bit more - what issues can you cause by doing what?
how do I know for certain, without the tedious task of going to the logos website, do I know that my notes have been synced and will save?
Unless the app is closing unexpectedly I would expect it to sync notes successfully. Outside of this thread I don't recall any recent issues of it being reported that this hasn't happened.
And it's not just that this works when online while creating the note. I took quite a few notes yesterday while offline and they successfully synced up when I got back online
