Click on Aaron's rod reading list ... get Verbum Practicum i.e. last Reading List I had opened.
Yes this is wrong - actually it can be seen when we compare the tooltip here
with the one on the homepage:
which will invoke the RL tool with that specific list. The log will capture that as
Navigating panel to: SelectedList=“I%20Am”%20Sayings!MJ%20Smith!http://topics.logos.com/$22I_Am$22_Sayings!0
and thus it seems there's a way to execute this (opening a resource from the command bar would show as Navigating panel to: Id=bibleafterbabel )
The Guide here fails to activates the SelectedList with a parameter - but so far Logos only does it within the RL tool or from the home page to the RL tool. I haven't been able to command it to Show Reading Lists with a parameter - it seems from the log the parameter is "xxx!yyy!zzz!0 where xxx ist the name of the list, yyy the author and zzz is the location i.e. a website adress on topics.logos.com - but if we could force all that in a logosres/ref/whatever link would be great.
We often wrote in the past that it's necessary to link between RLs - e.g. from RL Propitiation to RL Atonement, or here probably from RL Aaron to RL Aaron's Rod - but maybe there is a design gap in that the RL tool can't be asked to open a specific RL, thus the guide can't do better and the home page ribbon element maybe is a covert instance of the browser that gives us the RL. Looking forward to see if Bradley explains it to us.

Yes, this is a bug. (Actually, it tries to activate it with the selected reading list, but gets it wrong.)
but if we could force all that in a logosres/ref/whatever link would be great.
That doesn't seem to be supported right now (which is part of the problem).
I've filed a bug on this problem.
This just got a bit better and a bit worse in L5.3 Beta 1.
It seems, the developers still found no way to directly call a Reading List (which is bad), but made it a bit better by invoking the RL search feature:
(red: old behavior, blue: current behavior, green: desired solution)
this really is better than before .... but only if the search works. Otherwise, it's worse since it misleads the user in believing there is no RL even though the topic guide just sent him that way! Exactly this happens in the case of the "Aaron's rod' example
It may be related to the apostrophe character in the title - even though the web URL and the search string encode in exactly the same way (where I'd hope the RL panel would show the human-readable form).
This should be fixed.
No change in L5.3 Beta 2
This is a known issue; it hasn't been fixed yet.
Thanks for your attention, looking forward to a solution...
I'm not sure when it changed, but this is at least slightly improved in Windows 6.0b SR-1. The right reading list is included in the results, though it's still not direct and the apostrophe is still displayed badly.
