Is there any way to set book marks from within the IOS app
You can't see bookmarks but you can create Favorites (swipe up on some text)
Does that help at all?

I found how to set a bookmark but it doesn't behave as I expected. When I attempt to use a bookmark from within the resource the bookmark points to, it sets a new bookmark for the current location. I am expecting the bookmark to jump me to the location pointed to by that bookmark. Am I misunderstanding what a bookmark is and how it works?

Sorry I don't understand.
As above, bookmarks don't work in the iPad app.
Are you referring to bookmarks in Logos 5, favorites in the iPad app or something else?
