Critical website error - logos this is costing you money.

At least thats the assumption I am making.

The new pentacostal base package only cost me 0$ due to my academic update according to the check out. Yet its downloading 600mb or so of new books. Guessing its not supposed to happen that way.

Edit: Looks fixed now. I had just assumed there weren't many or any titles new to me... none were showing. So I thought: "cool - freebies", and then saw the size of the download. If you guys need to take the package off my account, you could do so without upsetting me. I do like it, but I don't want to have stolen.

I also got the $0 deal. I assume since the price was advertised as $0 Logos is obligated to honor it and it was not "stealing." But I agree, if I have stolen something I will give it back.

Stealing is probably a strong word. They've had glitches like this in the past and didn't require it. But I feel like I need to give them the opportunity to reclaim their product should they so choose.

Near as I can tell it was a vunerability for about two and a half hours. Assuming the thread announcing the new baptist and PC base packages is a reliable starting benchmark (right around 3pm), and assuming my memory serves that I edited my post about a half hour after initial download, then 3:08 to about 5:30 is probably a fair guess.

I would have prefered the baptist base packages to glitch. lol But I'm not complaining. I now have about 6600 titles, with about 1000 of them having been free (you can add perseus to both counts if you like, though they are largely hidden at the present moment. Around 400 were gained through the glitch, the rest have been free books of the month, vyrso give-a-ways, and a few themelios volumes.

I don't think it was that long. They were tweaking the dynamic pricing formula for a while. At first they didn't have dynamic pricing working at all. I think someone tried to fix it - likely right as we were checking out these offers - and fixed it wrong.
