If you're thinking of buying the A. W. Tozer Collection for $399.95, don't. Instead buy the new Pentecostal & Charismatic Starter, which includes the Tozer collection and can be had for $250.71 at the moment. And if you already own a base packages, it will be much cheaper than that. Great value!
Man, if I wasn't about to move I would jump on it for $104 or even go for the Silver Pentecostal, but I can't and my book budget is at its limit for a few months at least. We'll see if I can give myself something for Xmas :-)
Mark -
Thank you, thank you, thank you. [:D]
With academic and dynamic pricing, plus a current discount code (found on the page mark links to), I picked this up for much less. I have been wanting to get the Tozer collection for a while.
Perhaps this thread would be better in the General forum so more users might see it. What say you?
alabama - academic and dynamic pricing don't stack. you get one or the other. Which means any time you buy something where the academic price is lower than the dynamic price you are re-purchasing some of the same titles a second time.
Thanks for the clarification. It must just be dynamic pricing.
LOL I'm not gonna say names, but a sales rep emailed me with 3 options to add to my payment plan. Option 1: Just add Tozer at regular price to my payment plan. Option 2: Just add Pentecost & Carismatic Silver BP to my payment plan or Option 3: Add Tozer + Pentecost & Carismatic Silver BP to my payment plan. The funny part of option 3 is that the sales rep wants to add Tozer at regular price and Pentecost/Carismatic Silver BP to my payment plan as two separate purchases really jacking up the price of my payment plan...LOL...I'm sure it was an honest mistake...LOL, but why offer to add Tozer at regular price AND Pentecost/Carismatic Silver when Tozer is already included in the Pentecost/Carismatic Starter BP?
When I read the email it made me smile. What I may end up doing, though, is probably just add the starter package, since Tozer is really a great deal. What worries me a little is that as others have reported, some resources it tells me I own 59 of 73 data sets when sometimes I don't even own one. So does that mean that my dynamic pricing should be more or less? Hmmm, I might give my sales rep a call and find out. Tozer is always a nice read.

Great suggestion. With the 15% discount it comes to about $79 for me.
Well, I took the jump to Pentecostal & Charismatic Silver BP. I had been trying to contact several sales reps (ones I know and even the one that emailed me) but nobody answered through out the day. So after a few calls I decided to bless a random sales rep. I called Logos and ask to transfer me over to sales and whoever answered they were going to get the sale. Around 5pm PST someone answered and I got the upgrade.
One thing, though; when I type Guzik in my iPhone only 17 volumes show up. I try David Guzik and still only 17 volumes show up, are the other volumes not available on mobile devices?
With Dynamic Pricing and all I got 399 new resources on my iPhone/iPad and a little over 400 on my windows 7 laptop which I'm afraid will have to turn to a Windows 8 in the near future. I hope it holds out until Black Friday since only the mouse pad is giving me trouble. Better start backing up!
Anyway, great upgrade!
See this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/88209.aspx
why do you guys need to call to upgrade? doing it online is the same price isn't?
I tried calling few times to upgrade, but they always said the price I see online IS their price too.
So, I NEVER want to call again.
(the only benefit calling sales rep these days is just to give them "commission" money)

In my case to add it to my payment plan. I've purchased online before and then call to merge payment plans, but it's more work for them, so I just call, unless I'm purchasing the upgrade with my credit card, then I don't need to call at all.

Mark:
Thanks so much. I got it for close to $100 bucks. Couldn't have purchased it otherwise!
I had a look at the Silver Pack, and as a non-Pentecostal didn't see too much there that I really wanted.
Thanks to this thread I looked more closely at the Starter Pack - and I was interested in having Tozer, Chambers and quite a few good books on Prayer - all for $100 (allowing for Dynamic Pricing and current discount).
Thanks!
I tend to email in, I don't always get a better price. But sometimes I do. When I do its well worth the times I don't.Maybe you should try Rusty Davidson Dal?Rusty.Davidson@logos.com
I finally pulled the trigger, one day before the end of the sale. Thanks for pointing this out. I would not have seen it otherwise.
