the zip file in the faithlife community is the old one. Where can I download the new ones?
Individual VoD images can be downloaded from here: https://wiki.logos.com/Biblia_Verse_of_the_Day_images
thanks Mark, I saw them. But hasn't Logos made new ones?
I think the only difference between that wiki and the biblescreen one is the new watermark on the bottom right.
Have they added the new "vod" since then?
Edited for Clarity:
On a daily basis, you can go to www.biblia.com/verseoftheday and download the daily one. Just click on the thumbnail and the full graphic will appear. Right click on it and choose "Save Image As" (Windows).
Note: You will have to allow pop-up's on the site if you have a pop-up blocker.
But hasn't Logos made new ones?
The Wiki page is up to date, as far as I know. Logos have revised existing VotD images, but I'm not sure they've created new ones. And because the Wiki page pulls the image directly of Logos' servers, it should always have the most uptodate image available for that verse.
The watermark doesn't appear on the thumbnails, but if you click through the main image will have the watermark.
alright, so you think there's no new ones.
I thought I saw new vod's, because the new images have different "style" or graphic feel.
thanks
I keep this web page open on my PC and save the image each day. - http://biblia.com/verseoftheday/fullsize.jpg

There are new images for the same verses, but the Wiki page has the new images. For example, Hebrews 2:14 has changed:
You may never have seen the first one, because it pre-dated the VotD image on your Logos homepage. But it was on the Wiki, and was replaced with the new image as soon as the new one became available.
ah...
so, how do we know which are the new ones? l just want to download the new ones. Is there a way?
One at a time off of the wiki page should get you the new ones.
Unfortunately, I do not know of any tracking.
l just want to download the new ones. Is there a way?
Not to my knowledge, sorry.
Hello all,
There is a Bible Screen app now available in the iOS and Google Play marketplaces. These apps include a wallpaper feature that make it easy to search for an image to set as your device background or lockscreen. It's a very nice, lightweight app.
You're getting the inside scoop here. The apps were just listed on http://biblescreen.com/, and I expect when announcement emails and blog post goes out about it, they'll become very popular.
As always, if you use it and enjoy it, an app store rating/review would be appreciated.
Ray, an app that would grab the daily and make it my windows (7) wallpaper would be appreciated too. :-)
The apps were just listed on http://biblescreen.com/,
Ray,
the IOS app is very bad.
1. Cant save picture.
2. Those book tabs are way too small.
3. Cant zoom on wallpaper.
very unpolished.
Mike, you can save a wallpaper by tapping the action button in the upper right corner, then selecting Save Image.
Dave, somewhat off-topic - can you provide the playlist or album that the classical music is selected from? It's a good collection.
Dave Dunkin... Im using ipad air...i dont have "save image" button.
I'm also using an iPad Air and I see the save image button here:
Are you sure you're using the latest version of the app (2.0.1.113)?
yes, in fact i just downloaded the app couple hours ago.
Any chance we could see a screenshot? That might help figure out what's going on.
I deleted the app and re-downloaded a new one and still...
Did you disallow Bible Screen from accessing your Photos? If you check Settings -> Privacy, see if the switch next to Bible Screen is turned off. If I turn that switch to off, my iPad shows the same results as your screenshot. The app needs permission to write to your photos in order to save the images.
nvm, I just figured it out that i put restriction under General > Restriction > Photo.
I can save the the image now.
Btw Drew, how come the book font size on the right side is so small?? can they be bigger or placed somewhere else?
nvm, I just figured it out that i put restriction under General > Restriction > Photo. I can save the the image now.
Great, glad you got things working!
Unfortunately, no. That's a standard iOS control, which is how Apple thinks it should look, apparently.
It would be very helpful if the Sizes menu remembered your preference.
