No Notes Displayed on a Galaxy Note 3
Just downloaded and installed Bible on a new Galaxy Note 3 but my notes are not displaying. In the Settings, have turned OFF the display of Community Notes but have My Notes set to be ON.
BTW, I like the look/feel ... very nice.
Android version 4.3

Having the exact same problem. Loaded Logos on new phone, but no notes or highlights.

Hi both
Do you have large numbers of notes? They can take time to synch
Are you using the same credentials on the Android app as per Logos 5?

Same credentials.
Not a huge number of notes (quality not quantity [;)]).
It's definitely not a 'time to sync' problem. Notes have not shown up in Bible 2.6.x or 4.0x.
They do show up on a Galaxy Note 10.1 Android ver 4.1.2.

Again, I have the same response as JRS.
Not a large number of notes and I'm definitely using the same credentials.
FYI...when I take a test note/highlight on the Galaxy Note 3 Smartphone (Android version 4.3), it will sync to the Logos Windows version and my other Android version 4.1 tablet. Very strange indeed.

How comfortably can you read on the Note 3? It looks like it would make a nice tool for reading books in a recliner. [:)] I now have an iPhone 4, and it's time to upgrade. I could keep it and get an iPad. If the Note 3 is just as good as a 7 inch screen, then I could get 2 devices in one. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help.

Same problem here.
5 days ago, I downloaded the Logos Bible android app to a new Galaxy Note 3, but my Bible notes have not synched to it. (Same settings: my notes on; community notes off).

It's really nice to read on, Mark.
I've just moved up from a Galaxy Note 1 which I loved. The Note 3's full-HD screen is a marked improvement, and just superb for reading on. This is my tablet (i.e. I don't have in iPad or other tablet device). I chose to go this way because I always have it with me.

Thanks Allen. I'm leaning strongly toward the Note 3. I just want something from which I can read books with ease. An iPhone doesn't do that. My Surface Pro is good, but I don't take it everywhere. The Note 3 looks like a good solution.

I now do most of my casual reading on a Galaxy Note 8.0. However, I do use the Note 3 from time to time - especially when traveling. I was afraid that using the Note 3 might be akin to trying to read a book through a keyhole but actually it is not. By adjusting the font size and your preference of either landscape or portrait orientation, you can get a very good reading setup/experience.
Also, never discount the importance of the recliner (naps optional).

Thanks for your advisement, JRS. That sounds like a good option for reading. The 8" would be nice, but a keyhole would definitely be the iPhone. I wish they'd stick a phone in the iPad mini. I wouldn't mind putting it up to my head to talk. [8-|]

I am probably the last to know about this, but, yesterday after installing KitKat, I decided to take a look at the notes on the Note 3. Lo and behold, they all show up now! Not sure if it was due to KitKat, beta 4.1.5 (or earlier), some Logos-tinkering with the notes server/sync, or all of the above, but the problem appears to be fixed.
Thank you.

Glad things are working now. I'm not sure what would have fixed the problem. I know there are some things that can happen right now that cause notes to stop syncing, so maybe that was the issue. The good news is we were finally able to track down exactly WHY notes stop syncing and get it fixed! So for anyone else having notes sync issues, please check out the soon-to-be-released 4.1.6 beta. It is one of the best. My very first android phone and I am loving it. Love using Logos on it too! Way better than all the iPhones I ever had.
I've replaced all my iDevices except for my MBP for the Note 3.0 -
I downloaded the vyrso version and all my notes and highlights appeared. Of course on logos I still don't see my notes and highlights but hey at least I got my bible back.
I tried to retrieve my notes by downloading kit kat, but it didn't work!

Hi Priya,
This is a pretty old thread and we haven't been aware of any note display problems for a while. If it works on Vyrso it should work on Logos - have you tried removing and reinstalling the Logos app?
