I searched the forums, searched google - didn't find anything.
This is a running processin windows that I noticed in Task Manager.
LogosCEF.exe is found here: C:\Users\[Windows User Name]\AppData\Local\Logos4\System\
There is no description given in the file properties, but a search of CEF process suggests "Chromium Embedded Framework" and "Cisco Express Forwarding" (obviously there could be more, and CEF could be a Logos internal designation). The former seems to be something that works with Google Chrome. The latter has to do with optimizing a router to process packets faster. My guess is the latter.
If my guess is right, LogosCEF would be invoked to optimize downloading or uploading of content (Home Page, updated resources/program, settings, etc.). If you see that it is in TaskManager, but is not doing anything, it's probable that it's done, but Windows leaves it active, as it does with other running modules to optimize your total Windows experience (or some wording like that). Windows will (should?) eventually release the module after a certain amount of time.

Clicked Home Page, but LogosCEF did not appear in Task Manager.
Opened Personal Book from thread => PB-Denver Seminary Annotated Bibliographies/Recommendations
If have resource in library, hovering mouse over logosres link shows pop-up from resource.
If do not have resource (no pop-up), then clicking logosres link launches two LogosCEF.exe processes with preview of resource contents. Closing resource preview closes one of the LogosCEF.exe processes. Hence, highly suspect CEF is "Chromium Embedded Framework"

It's the former (Chromium Embedded Framework), and was added in 5.2b.

LogosCEF is a helper process (for the Chromium Embedded Framework) that is used to render HTML/web content.
