Anyone know the difference between this:
https://www.logos.com/product/1222/thru-the-bible-commentary (which I have) and
and of the individual volumes (which are not greyed out, but I should have?)

The content is identical. The latter are merely broken out. Or to be more precise, the former is a collection of all the latter.
I have the individual volumes from the J. Vernon McGee Essentials CD. I believe the actual difference is that the 5 Volume set also includes the Preface and the Guidelines for Bible Study which are not available separately.
I wish this would move to Dynamic Pricing so I could pick them up as well.
Contact Sales. Perhaps they can work something for you.

I believe you already have them - they are included in volume 1 of the 60 volume set (Genesis 1-15)
I wonder why they are not greyed out then.

"The radio broadcasts of the Thru the Bible Radio five–year program were transcribed, edited, and published first in single–volume paperbacks to accommodate the radio audience. From the beginning there was a demand that they be published in a more permanent form and in fewer volumes. This new hardback edition is an attempt to meet that need." https://www.logos.com/product/10114/thru-the-bible-vol-37-the-gospels
I wonder why someone would choose this compliation for $379.95: https://www.logos.com/product/39478/thru-the-bible-commentary-series
over this version for $89.95: https://www.logos.com/product/1222/thru-the-bible-commentary

Wow! one of them just looks like more content (but not). I bought the bottom one with the "Nelson's Electronic Bible Reference Library" long, long time ago which came with a bunch of other books for somewhere under $90. The top one I got from the source with a dozen and a half other McGee books for . . . much less.
I have the expensive one... Paid 30$The 60 vol set seems like it would be more complete as it has a later publication date. But now I wonder.
