Hi Allen - and welcome to the forums.

Ive just tried this and can't reproduce what you are describing - as below

What version of the app are you using? How are you highlighting?

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I inadvertently rested two threads. I understood your response but what is interesting is that in the same document I have some highlights that do show the text but after updating the app to the latest version I get the blank notes. The screenshot below shows the first few with the text and the blank notes underneath. If that is the way it is designed so be it. In the past I have seemed to be able to capture highlights into one document while preparing. Thanks for your help and speedy reply.

BTW. Just updated to the latest iOS app today so I am using the most updated version. I have tried highlighting both with swiping and setting the preference to use the last document selected I also have tried hard pressing and selecting highlight from the menu.

For clarification: The text that you are seeing is actually the Note Title. The note itself has always been blank, but in the past, the mobile app contained the entire quote in the title field. This was considered a bug and a discrepancy from how the desktop app functioned. The desktop app uses an abbreviated version of the quote as the note title. At some point, the mobile app was made to match the desktop version.

I am not near my iPad to test this out right now. At first glance, the notes below look like "regular" notes instead of "highlighting" notes. Can you confirm that these notes are actually highlights? I also notice that the notes in question are from a different resource than the first notes. What happens if you create a note in the first resource? Which resource is HBH?
