"Navigation failed" on "Einheitsübersetzung (neue Rechtschreibung)"

I am getting a "Navigation failed" error when I try to open a verse through the verse selector on the German Bible "Die Bibel. Einheitsübersetzung (neue Rechtschreibung)" and also when I try to use the slider at the bottom of the screen. From other posts I understand that this is quite often a problem with the individual resource.

Downloaded Verse map information for resources can sometimes be incomplete as a result of poor network connectivity (this issue is already fixed in the beta version).  To correct the problem please open your device's Settings panel and tap on Apps, then Bible and tap on the Clear cache button.  Make sure you have a good network connection and then access the German Bible again; this will re-download the verse map information.

Thanks for your help, Kevin. I am quite surprised to find that my app does not remember anything of my library except the Lexham English Bible. So I can't even test if your advice was successful.

It's sounds like your device isn't online - can you access the internet?
