Forum bug reappeared "Sorry there was an error"

The forum error page "Sorry there was an error processing your request" (blue text on white page) currently appears everytime I post to the forums (latest chrome or IE9).

The point is that in reality there was no error and the post or reply is visible in the forums afterwards. It is a nuisance - and people who believe such messages will be inclined to double/multiple postings, and from seeing several of these lately I speculate I'm not the only user affected by this.

Please fix it!

Error message also occurs using Opera 12.17 on Windows 7.

And I was blaming Chrome. Which is usually a sound conclusion, since the Chrome developers get a wild eyelash and start changing things with no regard to what common functionality it kills.

It seams that it is corrected, however, the quoted text issue is still there.

Description: Non matching quote blocks in post

Maybe I'll create a post in another thread for it.

The only way I found to get pass this is to delete the quoted text, click "Quote" again, then immediately click "Post" (within about a second).

Still occurring for me in the latest version of Safari on my mac.

I swear five minutes ago it still was... THIS one worked.

I too have experienced this over the last number of days but I should also mention that this has happened over the last number of weeks for me as well. I didn't say anything as I just thought it was the Logos website receiving lots of traffic.

I think the issue is spreading to Logos.com (or at least noticed). When I tried to compare two NT exegesis sets on Logos.com, one only delivered unformated text, and the other timed out. I hope we're actually on Logos servers. If not, then the new guys need to improve their pseudepiservers.

EDIT: and when posting http://community.logos.com/forums/p/89408/628733.aspx#628733 etc. (time stamps are in the posts). I'm waiting for one where it is not occurring to give you a datapoint that might help debugging this. But at least we know that this error happens prior to / instead of the routine that prevents double posts. and - at least for me - it doesn't happen when posting an edit to an existing post, such as now. Good luck fixing this!

Oh, and the bug where when you paste a URL into a message without typing a space after it it doesn't turn into a link when you click Post is still there. Just happened to me again here, and I had to come back to edit the post.

Also, if it appears to be taking a long time for your post to go through, even before receiving the "Sorry there was an error" message you can click the final link in the breadcrumb chain at the top of the post editor and that will go back to the thread, and your post will be there at the bottom of it.

Looks like it only happens for public sub-forum posts.

I deployed changes around 1am PST that should expose the dreaded Sorry something went wrong error.

And hopefully this post attempt causes the error, so that I can work on it tomorrow.

EDIT1: No error on post

EDIT2: Nor the error on edit. Oh well, it happens enough that I should see it occur before the weekend.
