I hope he's not related to Ray Comfort and is giving some of his "Comfort-able" translation in the process LOL [6]

Ps. I checked the sample pages and it looks like a great resource. Somewhat better than Metzger's volume or a great supplement for it or the other way around.

I have this in print and as an Accordance module, great resource to understand differences in bible translations and an excellent primer in textual criticism. It does a great job of explaining Metzger's commentary, the various text types, and much much more.
Here's an example of a single entry:
I'm in! Maybe by the time it ships I will know how to use it.
This is one of the only print books that I still use in my sermon preparation. So glad to FINALLY have this. MUST BUY!
This does looks like a great resource. One thing that would be nice is if it included the NIV 2011 but since it was published in 2008, when it says NIV it only refers to NIV 1984. Perhaps a future edition of this would include it.
I'm in. I asked for this a while ago. I'm glad it's here. Really useful resource.

I'm very familiar with this volume; the author is also responsible for Comfort & Barrett's Text of the Earliest NT Manuscripts. The only real issue with P. Comfort (in other work) is that he has consistently (and fairly) been charged with dating MSS too early. Note that the NTTC is not an apologetic for the NA/UBS text; in several spots he opts for different (typcally Westcott-Hort-ish) readings.
This is a very useful and helpful volume. I recommend it and have used it extensively.
