Sync issue with iOS 8 on iPhone 6 Plus

I just upgraded to an iPhone 6 Plus, but my reading plans and progress within them aren't showing up on my new device. How can I get them to sync over to the Verbum app? The sync fine between the Verbum app on my old iPhone 5 and desktop versions of Logos on my PC and Mac.
Any assistance you may be able to offer would be greatly appreciated

Yes, I'm using the same account. I've downloaded the books I keep locally from my library and my notes appear to be there as well. Everything looks pretty good to me. I just don't want to lose track of my reading plans. I've tried everything I can think of, but my reading plans still aren't showing. I actually do most of my reading on ny phone, so hopefully I can get this resolved soon. Any ideas are welcome.
On the Home Page there's a little Gear icon at the top right - if you tap it does Today's Readings have a checkmark next to it?

- Have you checked to see if the reading plan documents have downloaded to your phone? ("more" menu | documents | filter by "read")
- Have you checked to see if "today's readings" is checked for your home page? (Press gear wheel icon on homepage).

As for concerns others have raised about how the app looks on the new iPhone 6 Plus, I can confirm that the menus look good and I don't see any blurriness. The text is clear. I would be happy to post a few screenshots from the app if anyone would like to see how it displays.
Thanks to those who provided suggestions on how to resolve my syncing issue. I appreciate it.

I'm not sure why it took them so long to download when the actual books downloaded relatively quickly.
All of your note files automatically download when you install the app and sign in. The reading plans you may have for a particular book aren't tied to the book... It's not like when you download the book the reading plan comes along with it. In reality it probably didn't "take so long to download," it just wasn't the first thing to download.
