I figured I'd start this thread to talk about how to properly hijack a thread. That way we can make sure useless chatter is in a place we can all ignore. Please make sure all posts deal with the topic of hijacking threads.
You're a real program. I'm a diagram (almost died groaning at the puns).

I knew what it was but hadn't made the effort to go translate it. But now I have. Brilliant! An anatelegram! :-)

Hrm. I'm not really good at this.

I use the free Anagram Artist software to help me do them.
I used the Internet Anagram Server
Anagram Artist is superior, IMHO. But it doesn't do it all for you. It just presents you with a list of possible words you can spell from the phrase you input. You then need to select a good keyword from that list which is funny and apt for the subject being anagrammed. Once you add that word to the resulting anagram panel, the remaining letters are reprocessed to show you what words you can make from what is left. In this way you can build up some excellent anagrams.
When the text is short, AA can also propose short anagrams, and I think it does do a better job than IAS of proposing better ones higher up on the list (the best word order is still up to you to work out).
Finally, AA is capable of handling very long input texts and helping people do the most amazing long anagrams. It can propose synonyms and rhymes (so you can get creative and anagram entire poems into new poems), help you keep from using up all your vowels too early, etc. It's truly the Rolls Royce of anagram software. The Logos of anagram software, I should say. ;-) And it's free.
One of these days, when I'm done catching up with the Logos forum (which never seems possible), I'm hoping to get around to making a Camtasia video showing how to do anagrams in Anagram Artist.
A famous atheist = To assume a faith.
I don't have enough faith to be an atheist!
Finally, AA is capable of handling
I thought one of the first steps of AA was admitting that you are not capable of handling everything.
It unlocks the strength that comes through admitting weakness.

Your suspicions are accurate. I'm addicted to anagrams just as much as I'm addicted to this forum. And AA software is for Anagram Addicts.
I just added my support for Logos to develop the works of Alister McGrath.

I am just reflecting on the likelihood of ever seeing the works of his cousin, Damian.
Damian, are you really Alister's cousin? Hats off to you.
This probably the "proper" place to ask . . . . Did the folks at Logos get the Idea for the STARS from Dr. Seuss's Star-Bellied Sneetches???
Is everyone going to get one??
This thread is catching up to me in terms of total number of posts. It's going to get into the 1K club before I do!
After slowing down for the last two days (meaning, I'm not having my browser set up to continually update the screen) I'm not sure how I ever kept up with it before. Sadly, I think its slipping away from me know. sniff sniff...I will miss my obsessiveness with the forum. Of course, I've said that before :-)
I am not really following this anagram stuff. It kind of leaves me empty.
Sort of a hollowgram.

How did I do that? I included my comment in Dan's quote! Wierd~~~~~~

Anagram? Ditch 'm!I'm a grand match.
And if he gets upset with us for anagramming his name, and comes after us angrily, looming large, this is how to protect ourselves from him:
Charm mad giant.

I was getting tired of all the grey in it though, it had to go.

Do fuzzy searches in L4 use the same algorithms as L3?
I really hope the weather co-operates for my drive to see my grandchildren for Christmas.

Wonder how many of Mary's family greeted her the same way?
I would like to say how much I missed this thread in the past few days.
I would LIKE to say that........
I thought I was supposed to get the speck out of my own eye before putting posts in concrete...
Wouldn't "Just For Men" have been less drastic?

I'll leave that one for those who are more talented than I am. Note that I did not mention the area in which they are talented. [8-|]
