We are trying out Proclaim and do like what it has to offer. However, we have run into an issue I hope you all can help us with.
We have noticed that Proclaim will show unicode Greek, Hebrew, Russian, Chinese, etc correctly within the Proclaim fonts on the slides.
However, we are also needing our slides in Hindi, Nepali, Burmese, etc. It looks as though the Logos fonts in Proclaim don't show these languages correctly. The Hindi characters looks fine in the notes and content section of Proclaim, but it does not appear correctly on the slide itself.
If I change my keyboard on my Mac to Hebrew or Greek and type in the "content" area for the slide, it shows Hebrew and Greek correctly in the slide. However, if I change my keyboard to (for example, Devangari), it doesn't work.
Is it possible to get these other languages to work correctly within the fonts in Proclaim in the same way as Hebrew, Greek, Chinese and Russian do? I believe we are using unicode for each of these other languages.
I do realize that fonts cannot be added to Proclaim. I'm not looking to install additional fonts but to use additional unicode characters within the existing Proclaim fonts.
Also, I realize that I could add this as an image, but honestly, with the hundreds of verses we need to add, it may not be worth doing it in Proclaim.
Thanks,
David
NOTE: Chinese, Russian, and Hebrew work correctly with the existing fonts but Hindi and Nepali do not. They look correct in the "content" section, but do not work correctly in the slide itself (they show up as blocks). This is currently using the Museo Sans font, though the same issue occurs on other font selections.
