Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself as I join the host of Mac Forum members and Logos users in general, for the first time. I'm new to Logos but not to Bible software, as I've been using other apps for years. But in the one week I've had Logos, I've really come to appreciate it's features and vast library. Very glad to have joined the Logos community!

I'm a Mac user 100% of the time, except for those rare moments of necessary VMware, so I'll be looking to help test the Alpha versions all the way up to the final release. I'm also familiarizing myself with L4 through the windows side so I come to know what potential the application has and what features I can and should test in the Mac version. Must say I am looking very much forward to the complete feature set for the Mac, as the Windows version is quite nice indeed. I actually like its elegance and hope some of its characteristics carry over. Simple things, like the gentle appearance of its color scheme in frames and menus. Especially true for the pop-up info bubbles, which on the Mac are with a dark yellow background while the Win version has nice eggshell fill.

My experience so far with Alpha 8 has been pretty positive. No real issues to speak of except for missing features yet to be implemented. For the technically curious, I'm running L4 Platinum on a MacBook Pro 15 inch, (late 2008), 2.4 GHz with 4 GB RAM.

I'll be in and out on the forum but will be on a slightly different time zone due to my current location in Italy.

Blessings to you all,

Mark Nigro

Welcome Mark, and thank you for avery refreshing post. [8-|]. If you have not seen the introductory material already, take a look at the first link in my signature. The second has to do with Parallels which will not help you since you are using Fusion, but there are other Fusion users if you need any assistance. The third link (second line) contains instructions for posting bug reports.

Again, welcome to L4 Mac and to the forum. We eagerly await you reports and any questions.

    Jack

    Welcome Mark,
Glad to have more users testing out the Mac Alpha. the more users testing and posting bugs, the faster and better the programmers can work for us. I hope to be back on the forum more regularly sometime next week, but in the meantime I am so gald Jack and Donovan have been able to help answer so many questions.
    You guys are great!
    Happy New Year!
