I have a few personal books on my PC in Logos 5 and I'd like to have them sync in the cloud with Logos on my iPad. Is this possible or do personal books remain only on your hard drive?
It not possible even in the current Beta, and we have been told that there is no timescale for such functionality to be added. This is however not the same as being told it is not envisaged in the future.
No, but if You want to You can go to the wiki and find the install on multiple devices information and use method 3 - on Windows particularly if You have many PB:s. I suppose there's a similar routine for Mac OSX.
In the current beta there is a function to upload PBB, upload to what? I have no idea.
Welcome! [:)]
Personal books can be uploaded using the current beta version of L5... but the mobile apps aren't able to download or view those types of resources at present. Many of us are hoping that Logos brings this feature to the mobile apps, but there has been no firm commitment or time table for them to do so at this point.
I don't think it would be inappropriate for me to say that there is no hint at this functionality in the ios beta program at the present time. However, it has been inferred that they wouldn't start coding it until the current desktop beta (which has the ability to sync books between computers (pc or mac)) perfects it and reaches production. So maybe 2020, or 2025 *chuckle*. Who knows besides the Lord? I'm guessing its a matter of months though, not years. But no one has given me a timeline.

Technically, I don't think they said (or inferred) that. Rather, what HAS been said is that it will come to the desktop before it comes to mobile. With that said... I think you are right. [:P]

Hi Edward,
Personal Books don't currently sync with the mobile apps but this capability might be implemented in the future.
