Why does the website claim I own L4 when in fact I own L5?
Because GOLD is higher than SILVER it is using that as your highest level purchase. It is still accounting for all of the other resources and packages you own, but is referencing your highest level of purchase regardless of age.

That is very helpful and makes sense. I think many are going to stumble over understanding this. What you are saying is that we are upgrading from the highest level we once owned. For me, that was L4 Platinum. In L5 I only had silver. So the comparison is between L4 and L6.

For me it just says L5 - but I have multiple platinum packages, and so it I guess just simplified the nomenclature.
This is precisely what I see because, I guess, I am in a similar situation to you inasmuch as I upgraded to a number of the denominational packages.
I have spent some time going through the 'new to me' comparison charts and, as expected, everything appears present and correct.

We're fixing this soon. Sorry about that. It's definitely looking at your ownership of everything, but we're showing highest level instead of highest version, which is backwards. We'll have this updated soon. Sorry for the confusion.

I just purchased an L6 upgrade to Gold. Can you please confirm that regardless of methods you choose to use, I am getting the deal I am supposed to be getting. Is this a cosmetic fix or a fix that will possibly change my dynamic price?
It's a cosmetic fix. The upgrade discount calculation for dynamic price won't be affected; it was (and is) based on every resource you've purchased regardless of which package you purchased it in.

On a related note, the number of resources this page says I have is more than the number of resources I have according to my library. Any ideas why?
I know in general the website includes datasets, which aren't listed in the Library. I'd suspect that's the case here.
Yes: this page counts Reverse Interlinears, datasets, features and everything else that can and could be licenced under Logos - which is more than the resources you see.
