have you placed the logos address from the first post in your kindle accepted sender's list?
Doah! (slap forehead) Done, it works! Thanks to the acute forum participants who are patient with the obtuse.

After linking your Kindle account information with your Logos account,
you lost me on this line
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Does it need to be a fresh installation? I just upgraded.

Not sure how helpful that is. As you can see, the option isn't there. I've tried several books, dug through preferences both in Logos and online, and nary a mention of Kindle in sight.
I was going to test this and suddenly realized I can't, I'm working offline. Then I realized that could be your issue. Are you offline right now?
If you're online, let's try some logs too. Please enable Logging (http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging ), replicate the problem, but do not restart Logos until you've moved or uploaded your logs. (Logos rewrites logs when it starts).

It looks like you may have a corrupt database located here:
Users\Alan\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\xj2u3hvx.uj5\Updates\Metadata.db
I'm not sure if that is one that triggers a full re-download or not. So I would wait until an expert chimes in, but my guess is they are going to ask you to delete that.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

Your log files show that your Kindle email isn't linked:
2014-10-28 11:34:49.6681 8 Info SendToKindleManager There is no associated Kindle Email
You can set this up by following the instructions in the first post on this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/92620/642929.aspx#642929

I am not sure how long it typically takes to get to the Kindle. I have been waiting about 15 minutes

Great feature. Almost makes me want a kindle... if only we could get our highlights back into logos... then they'd have me
What would be really great is to get my Kindle books into Logos!

The "paragraph" before the bullets in the first post is the actual first step:
"A kindle.com email address must be assigned to the account by entering “set kindle to #####@kindle.com” into the command box. Note: You cannot unlink your Kindle account once it has been linked. Please be sure to check your kindle.com address carefully before submitting."
With joy,

EDIT: I ask because it almost looks to my tired brain like you mean that you submitted your kindle address. Again, forgive me if I'm suddenly being thick.

I love this feature (being a huge kindle user) but I have one question. How is it decided which books can be sent to the kindle? I noticed in the Armchair Theologian series that some books from the series could be sent and some couldn't. That seems odd to me...

Its a matter of contract rights -- and many early contracts need to be renegotiated to include such rights/
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

How is it decided which books can be sent to the kindle?
One of the limits we have is how large of a file that Amazon will let us send them. I think the current limit is 50MB.

Alan, You are not alone. I got the same problem as yours. I upgraded to Logos 6 Gold. The program kept crashing and indexing since installation. I should've waited to upgrade after the initial technical issues have been fixed.

Can we expect at some point that this will be user changeable?
No; it's restricted to CS to prevent a malicious person sending the same library to multiple devices.
If you own the @kindle.com email address, you can reassign it to your devices, so there shouldn't be a legitimate need to change it often.
I do understand the issue of unethical people sending resources to multiple devices (i.e. to theirs and to friends), but from what I see at Amazon, each of "my" devices has to have a unique email address (which makes sense), but... I take it that also means for "my own" Kindle devices, IF I want to change which device I want to read from (e.g. to switch from my Kindle Fire HD to my Kindle Fire HDX), I'll have to change the email address on my Kindle Fire HD to something temporary so I can use the original email address from the HD on the HDX. Am I on track?????
