Unable to view other bible translations and study notes on iPhone 5s (iOS 8.1)
I am unable to view any of the additional books / bible translations that are usually available under Home, Resources and Store. I only see the Lexham English Bible under Resources >> Bible and Faithlife Study Bible under Resources >> Study Notes.

Anyone else facing the same issue?? Tried deleting the app, restarted the phone and reinstalling the app but its still the same.

Hi Amit - and welcome to the forums
Can you double-check you are logging in to the app using your Logos credentials?
This sounds as though you just have access to some of the free resources - which would be the case if you weren't logging in.

Hi Graham, I can confirm that I am logged in using my Logos credentials

Thanks for that.
Two further thoughts:
- What you see may be consistent with your phone being offline and just seeing downloaded resources. Is it connected to the Internet at the moment? (I expect you are connected but just wanted to make sure)
- Some problems have been reported with iPhone 5 (and other non-retina devices) with iOS 8.1. See https://community.logos.com/forums/p/92114/642385.aspx#642385 for some of the discussion. The problems reported there were mainly crashes but this could be related in some way. Would need a Logos developer to comment on this one.

Thanks Graham.
The iphone is most definitely connected to the Internet. I experienced the same problem both at work and home which run different network connections. This iPhone issue seems bizarre. Did you guys do changes on the server to trigger it?
I'm aware of the other post about the crashes. My iPad is facing that issue but i'll wait for the fix on that one as I understand a possible update is a weeks away.

Graham and I are volunteers... we don't work for Logos/Faithlife.
This iPhone issue seems bizarre.
Sounds like it. Can you give a screen shot of your library? Can you name some missing resources? (I know there is a problem with the ESV).

Interesting to see that all of those resources are local to your phone.
I expect that typing the command "rebuild index" on your homepage would fix the problem but can you hold on for a little while to see if any of the Logos people see this thread and have some other suggestions or need more information?

I tried typing the command but It's still the same.

Thank you Kevin. Really hope this is rectified soon. Was initially impressed with the features available on the faithlife app but it's frustrating that I am unable to use it now.

Having the same problem. Trying to install Logos app on new iPhone 6 Plus. I log in, it starts setting up my Librsry, but stops at 97% despite repeated attempts and redownloading app. Then it shows I have only 44 resources, not my usual 4900 something. My old iPhone 5S worked fine earlier, and I had all the resources downloaded.
please fix!!!
---
Hurray - the other books just started appearing when I entered some words in the search bar! Now 5303 resources! Gonna take a couple days to download.

We're working on it. This issue has nothing to do with mobile apps or the devices you run them on - it's a server issue.

We do *not* recommend downloading thousands of resources locally.

What are the disadvantages of downloading everything, if you have the iPhone capacity to do so? Doing so allows me to read everything when I don't have an Internet connection and don't want to use my data plan.
Is there a way to download everything except, e.g., the Perseus resources, without individually Removing them after a Download All is complete?

There are a number of reasons. The app can get flaky. Downloaded resources must be updated... ones from the cloud are done automatically. When you use a non-updated downloaded resource, it can cause problems. Also, the best "fix" for many issues is often a delete and reinstall. Lastly: sometimes iOS doesn't fully release the data from the app. Imagine having 5 GB of downloaded resources. You delete the app... but the 5 GB is still unavailable to use! Reinstalling the app only creates a new 5 GB segment taken up. The only fix then is to wipe the device clean of EVERYTHING and start from scratch. This has happened to me on at least two occasions.

I am unsure exactly what you mean by the structure of your sentence... I <think> you are asking about this:
You can do a filtered "download all" to download a subsection of your library. For example: you could filter your library with edition:e to show only Vyrso books. When you click "download all" filtered this way, only your Vyrso books will download. A handy filter is mytag:whatever to filter your library for books you have tagged "whatever".

I'll have to learn and try some of those filtered downloads. I guess I first have to tag my resources from within the desktop program.

Yes.

I am unaware of a list anywhere, but sometimes I stumble into them or other users mention them. You can try things like "series" or "author" to see if anything works. I am actually not by my iPad at the moment... which is the reverse of my usual form state. [:)]

Winning a free laptop made the need to have all my resources on my iPhone a lot less important. But I had already ordered the 128GB phone in anticipation of again doing so, as I was reaching and sometimes exceeding the limit of my 64GB phone.
I guess I will just stuff this new phone with more photos and videos and music!

There you go!
I am not able to upgrade my phone currently, but I plan to get a 64GB next fall. I <could> fill that completely with music (My collection is over 80 GB).
Don't forget games! I am not really a big gamer, but there are some I really like... and some I would be tempted to try, but I am not going to "waste" 1GB on my 16 (now 32 GB) phone.
