I'm thinking of upgrading to Portfolio 6. However, I'm not sure if these are included or not. Or all the 'B's' in the circle are not?
The Princeton Theological Review is not in Portfolio or any base package. We will get this fixed. Sorry about this error.
(The Presbyterian and Reformed Review is.)
So are you telling me that the PTR is NOT included?

The PTR is not included in any base package. We are fixing the product page to reflect this.
Its not greyed out for me, which is not particularly satisfactory as this was one of the reasons I brought the package. But who am I kidding, I would have brought it anyway.
Mike you are absolutely correct!!
I compared, did my homework and checked my budget line. I called my go to person at Faithlife in Sales - John Ramsey and I specifically asked him if these journals were included.
Obviously John is not going to know all the over sights. He said that as far as he knows these Journals were included. I was basing my purchase on these journals inclusions and told John to go ahead and submit my order.
Now I find that the Journal is NOT included which really miffed me. Your're right Mike, I didn't cancel my order because I wanted this upgrade that suited my research and study patterns, but I'm pretty hot right now!
Faithlife/Logos?? This put a sour taste in my mouth. Not impressed with the error
I have a portfolio sale pending as well This wasn't the only factor, but did weigh heavily in my decision to purchase this over Reformed Port, or Baptist Diamond - either of which would be hundreds cheaper.Reformed Portfolio was more expensive. My bad. But still, even were it less expensive, I had made the decision to buy L6 Portfolio in no small measure due to these journals that I have been in on for years!
You should at least give it to those of us that it makes a difference to.

For me it was a main reason as well.
PTR was definitely one of the factors which encouraged me to place an order for Portfolio over Diamond. There wasn't much in there to swing the difference, however this was one of those resources which tipped the balance for me in favour of spending more money. Errors like this do happen from time to time - especially with a huge launch like this - however, trusting that Logos will continue to exercise the great customer service they've become known for!
For what its worth, the error is still listed on the website:
I've debated with myself if I would say what I'm going to say and then I saw your/this post.
As a business owner there is NO WAY I would not give any of our customers something that we had advertised. Whether it was a mistake or printing error or whatever. They saw the product, they wanted they product and they paid for the product. SO THEY GET THE PRODUCT! That's just too bad. I take the hit, save customers and I'll tell you, at the end of my day, my conscious is clear.
All day yesterday and all day at work I was so excited about upgrading. It simply reinvigorated my desire to study God's Word. That being said, I'm still excited about 'playing' with L6, but just feel kinda of robbed.
All of us work hard for our money and to find out that we are not getting something we paid for, is unacceptable. Customer service is so important and to not include a product just because it was a mistake is, in my humble opinion, not good business and borders on an integrity issue.
So I could go on and I want to go on, but I won't. I just don't know what to say.... I'm P.O'd (put off).
You should see the fix soon. We had a surge in traffic a bit ago which is slowing things down.
I've debated with myself if I would say what I'm going to say and then I saw your/this post...
Logos has a history of doing the right thing by their customers like no other company I know of. I'm sure they'll make good this mistake.

I hope they do.
Glad I saw this, just spent the last 24 hours trying to buy standard portfolio, finally added it to my basket now I can't get to checkout. Missed the fact that this had been removed.
Just got an email, thank you Kent!
Ditto.
mm.
Hopefully they will reach out to all who purchased Portfoili or Collectors to rectify this or will each person have to become a squeeky wheel to get greased?
No email here as yet, but I'll sit tight until Kent gets in touch.
I didn't get any email.
Same here, no e-mail as of yet.
So Ken? Are you calling me a ....[:)]

no, Just making a general statement.
I emailed my sales rep. I can't imagine Logos not making good on their advertising.
Let's also have a little mercy and grace for the fact that Logos is trying to get a zillion details right, be fair and get an exciting new product out to us.
We might not feel good having taken advantage of a Logos mistake. Stolen bread might taste bitter. We don't want them to take advantage of us, and they probably don't want us to take advantage of them. Oh for a clear conscience!
edit: looked up the wrong Princeton [:$]
I also bought Collector edition at zero hour, and now Logos is trying to subtract the resources??????? C'mon, don't cheat.
Seriously, I've caught Logos doing this more than twice..
(imagine how many hundreds of people are hurt because of this and they don't know it)
What a shame! First, I could not get on to the website to investigate the base packages. Then, I studied the packages I am interested in getting. I made notes of the deal-makers and Princeton Theological Review was a prime pick. I asked Sales specifically if it is included in Collectors Edition. I made the decision to purchase this Friday. ...And now discover this thread. [:@]
This has me wondering. Will Logos pull the John Gill works next?
