[closed] multiple screen use BUG

Lenovo desktop, IdeaCentre and three screens: analog-VGA center screen, right and left screens are Eclipse USB3 adaptors.

running L6 on the leftmost screen, whenever a new floating window opens (visual copy, library in floating window, Atlas,etc... it defaults to the center screen.

I can see this happening the first time, but when I drag the screen to the leftmost screen, and close and open again, it still goes to the center screen and not the last opened location. I have tried to set this, then close L6 and restart and it does the same thing.

Brent, I use four monitors with L6 on the primary. Floating windows have always opened up in the primary center. I wonder if your screen driver/utility has a setting that could pay attention to this for you and move open windows elsewhere?

thanks. I guess i didn't notice on L5. I don't use L6 on the primary monitor. there is a software hotkey that will make an active/focused window move to a particular screen, but it isn't a "saved" setting. so each time I open a floating window, I would still have to press the hot key.

I still say this is a bug, even if it was the same in L5.

Whose display card is in that Lenovo? ATI and NVIDA both have advanced settings in their more recent drivers that will often do this for you. (My ATI does, but I don't activate it for performance reasons)

In which case a third party tool would do what I'm describing. Ultramon or something like that.

Ah well.

BUG: Logos should remember where I last opened a tool.

TC - has this bug been fixed i.e. has Logos memory of position improved?
