Search syntax question: What labelling do the Journals use?

I know we can search for all the sermons in our library by typing {Label Sermon}. But how can we do the same for journals? Neither {Label Journal} nor {Label Article} work.

More importantly, how can we discover labels? I think it's important to be able to run a report somehow that lists all the labels in our library, and all the potential fields within those labels.

With datatypes we learned through the right click menu, but these are hidden. So how can we learn labels, unless they're properly documented?

Try {Label Journal Article}.

I haven't confirmed this works, because I have to catch a bus. But it's what is on our internal documentation page, which (you are totally right) should be documented publicly ASAP. We have some plans, just need to get them going.

They should be showing up in information when you hover over a section of text. We have also talked about creating a wiki page on wiki.logos.com that can document all of the supported labels.

Journal labels should also support these attributes.

Tite - string
Author - string
Topics - Topic references
References - Bible references
Date - Date reference

That's helpful, thanks. A wiki page would help too. But best would be a "Label" entry on the right click menu, that then on the LHS you could:

Search for {Label Journal Article}
Search for {Label Journal Article WHERE Date=<Date ~ 1975>}
Search for {Label Journal Article WHERE Author ~ "White, Todd"}

Or whatever. I know now all of these are necessarily useful, but they might be for other labels. Having them in the right-click menu (a) makes them visible, and (b) reminds us of the correct syntax.

Thank you. That, in the help file, linked to from search helps, would be fine — so long as it keeps getting updated with new labels.

What about the labels used to generate the Bible Book sections in Factbook (apart from Outline, which is documented)?
