I have 659.7mb download that gets to about 13% and then resets to zero. At that point nothing happens except the fans start running on the MBP. Please advise.
This is a known issue on Macs. See this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/93214.aspx
Please advise.
I assume you are using Yosemite? It might help to plug into ethernet, and turn off wifi & bluetooth. The link Richard gave you will provide more details. Also, you might want to try and download the SR2 engine manually to bypass the Logos download system.
Robert,
I did finally get the update downloaded using the suggestions Alabama provided. It still required a few stops and starts. Glad it is done.
Well I am happy for your part
Unfortunately my experience has not been as good. Downloaded the SR-2 but the max I got so far is 110 meg before it stalled again! Very frustrating!

Did you try some of the suggestions I had? Which ones?
Hi. I implemented all of your suggestions . BT off. WiFi off. Ethernet on. No dice. The most frustrating part is I've been running Logos 5 on Yosemite since June with no update problems. Get to Logos 6. Big problems
My understanding robert is that the issue lies in the way apple changed the wireless package within yosemite, that you should be seeing the trouble across logos platforms. Have you made any big purchases or had need to re-download your library in 5 since June?Guessing you probably haven't, though I could be wrong.
I have similar problems. After upgrading from version 5, the app seems to run but downloading updates is painfully slow.I started yesterday afternoon and have run overnight and it is still only 18%.That's worse than dialup modems used to be.Other software such as Adobe is lightning fast by comparison. I updated Muse in mere minutes!I only hope that this issue is resolved soon, given that these are early days and updates are inevitable.
Nothing in the Gig range no. Just a couple of pre-pubs and the usual resource updates. Those were fairly quick updates. And I have had no wifi or other network issues. Downloaded huge Apple updates without any issues and in reasonable time over wifi!
We've had some initial reports of success from suggestion 1 at http://osxdaily.com/2014/10/25/fix-wi-fi-problems-os-x-yosemite/
See if that works for you (or try some of the other suggestions at that page).

I think the size of the downloads is brining the problem to the forefront. I experienced some of these issues and reported them in early October, but at the time it was thought to be something on my end. Since the "massive download" of Monday, and the subsequent purchases of new base packages, more users are experiencing the issue.

I don't think the issue is L6, but Yosemite. Some L5 users have also experienced the issue. See here for some potential help: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/93214/648695.aspx#648695
Thanks for the link. Tried all that. No go. Looks like I'll need Time Machine to get a working Logos again.
The good news is, Thanks to the uninstall logos entry on the wiki and Time Machine on my Mac I have successfully reverted to Logos 5. Now I just need to have a chat with the sales guys about a refund!
