When Faithlife released the Collectors Edition it was a good deal.
THEN, Faithlife decided to gut the contents. First to go was the Princeton Theological Review. The price of the upgrade did not change. Then I noticed the Eerdmans titles got pulled. Again, the price did not change. Then we see the majority of the Journals disappear along with Collected Works and many other resources. This time the price went up!.
My original upgrade price was $1560.51 for 406 books. Now my upgrade price is $1560.89 for 49 books! That comes out to $31 per book. I am not about to pay $31 for books like "How To Minister To A Gay Teenager."
I caution everyone who bought the Collectors Edition to check their library to see if you got what you were promised. Faithlife claimed it was just a mistake that they included the Princeton Theological Review. But are we to believe it was just a mistake on all the other titles?
Anybody heard of "Bait & Switch?" This is "Bait & Delete."
