English Definitions Only, No Greek/Hebrew
In the iOS app on iPhone and iPad, selecting a word in the KJV or ESV returns only the English definition of the English word. There is no Greek or Hebrew words/definitions any more. Is this being fixed?

I've just tried in the ESV and am still getting original language information
You do only get English when offline.
Are you online when trying this? If so, please advise what version of which app you are using.

I am online and using the latest version (4.3.7) on both devices. I have tried uninstalling the apps and rebooting devices. Still getting English only.

Dave,
I am having the same issue. The initial window with word info and parsing shows up blank, with the option to do a word study, but then quickly just turns into an English defintion. The same thing that happens when not connected... I have been on three different networks streaming music and doing online searches...
Also, my Iphone running the current update has the same issue.

Sorry to keep posting on this! It appears that the word look up works with some verses/words and not others.
For example, Acts 20:21 selecting words produces the empty box. Then when I move down to Acts 20:24 and select a word it brings up the word information. I am using the ESV. I am selecting words that are in the original...not words added to smooth out translation.

Same here. Is Logos working on this?

That is very helpful information
I can reproduce the problem looking at the verses you mention.

I haven't seen this reported previously so it may be that Logos isn't aware of this yet.
Hopefully they will see this thread and respond.

I had the issue yesterday when the servers were down. Today when I went to home on my iPad it updated resources and works fine.

I updated resources as well. Still same problem. Maybe Logos has some insight or a fix?

On my iPad, I noticed the same event when looking up "fair-minded" in Acts 17:11. As a definition I was given the Oxford English dictionary definition when I wanted to see the Greek word in the NKJV. I think "duh" I know what fair-minded means. I then noticed that there is an option to click on study word at the bottom right hand corner, but you HAVE TO do it very fast or it is gone. Doing so will give you the study word.

This is related to some reverse interlinear resources being out of sync with the translation resources, which were recently updated. We're working on a fix.

FYI, 4.3.6 is not having this issue on iOS 5.1 when using NKJV while looking up Greek.

This also appears to be happening on the Android version for both KJV1900 and ESV but the NKJV is working as expected (for anything I have tried)

For what it's worth, I noticed last night that when clicking on Info in the latest Android version for a Greek word in Ralph's Septuagint, I only receive the Hebrew and a transliteration (and maybe some morphology), but no English gloss.
From what the others have posted, it sounds like these are resource-specific issues..

The Word Lookup issue should now be fixed.
