High lighting anomaly

In the ESV I try to high lite the words "distress of nations" in Lk 21.25. What happens is the high lite will not just high lite those words, but the word "earth" just before it. No matter what word I start my high lite.

I can high lite 'distress of nations' in the NA28 and it will correspondingly high lite the ESV,

It happens at different verses as well.

Do it happen because just the words "distress of nations" do not occur any where else?
Does it happen because an article (def/anar) is needed?

Not sure what happens.

Set it to no and I bet your problem will go away. You may need to restart logos after changing the setting.

So I just set it to "no" and that seems to resolved the issue. Thanks!

You have 'Smart Text Selection' turned on in Program Settings.

You can turn it off temporarily by holding down the Alt key.

If you trun it off permanently in Program Settings you can turn it on temporarily by holding down the Alt key,

This is from a post back when it was first implemented. The recent massive update was to make the feature available in most logos resources. I have always kept it set to 'no'

Smart Selection allows for text selection based on word, clause, sentence, and paragraph groupings. Holding Alt/Option will allow normal selection, and Alt/Option+RightClick will select the word’s logical cluster. There is now a toggle for Smart Selection under Program Settings, so please ensure that it is enabled.
