List of named Collections in Search Menu-How to Change

There is a long list of collections that are defaults e.g. commentary series, that L4 automatically sets up. I think that is how it works. That list is inefficient and ineffective for what I want to do. I can find no way to delete the ones I will not use. I can easily set up a much shorter list of collections so that I don't have to scroll so far down to get at what I need. I must be failing to find a setting for this because it makes no sense to me that users have the ability to create rule based collections and yet, lack the ability to customize within the list.

I know this probably does not solve the problem, but may be able to assist you in working with the symptom: just start to type what you are looking for in the find box and the list will be abbreviated accordingly.

Yes, that makes the list shorter if I know the name of my collection. Sometimes I just want to see a short list. I do not like clutter. And it looks cluttered. Simplify. Simplify. Simplify is what I am trying to do in every area. Thanks.

Joan, perhaps they should separate your collections from the series and allow for the sections to be collapsed so they are not viewed. I think this would be a good compromise for those that would like to have both.

I agree, it would be nice to be able to customize those collections or remove them if not needed.
For now I just add a "1 " or a "! " in front of my own collection names so that they are all the way on top of the list.
