Download all media and space question...
before I select download all media, in one of my resources that have videos, as example (M:ed) - how do I know where it is being downloaded to? and then further can that location be changed? reference drive space availability. (want to study using my tablet PC, even if not Internet connected, but have drive space limitations to deal with)

It's not changeable at an app level and changing it at the OS level is not supported. You can delete the cache files as you are finished with resources to conserve space.
We do have plans for UI to allow you to download only the media files you will be needing offline. This work has not yet been started so I cannot say when (or really even if) it will be in a build.

Ryan was careful to say it's not supported, rather than it's not possible [:)].
If you need to move the folder, you can do so with a symbolic link.

yehp. I read between the lines. already done. seems to be working.
webcache folder was several gig. may not seem like much to some, but I just upgraded to collectors, and my almost-new tablet PC (with SSD) was filling up quickly.0 -

It sounds like this would be a good folder to exclude from Time Machine backup?
Any more new folders that it would be good to exclude? (I already have the indexes excluded.)

What you exclude really depends on what your goals are and what your settings in the app are. If you already sync everything then you really don't need to backup anything* in your install folder because it's all backed up for you and will be downloaded anytime you reinstall.
If you have turned off syncing or if you're afraid of Logos servers going down and losing your notes, settings, clippings and other documents then you might consider backing up the Documents folder but not the Data folder.
* If you don't upload personal books you might consider backing those up as well because they are not automatically synced.
NOTE: Technically the WebCache folder isn't new in 6.0 (though we do continue to add new media resources).

Can we get an expiration on files in WebCache? Last time I cleared mine it was 28GB (https://community.logos.com/forums/t/89125.aspx); That included some downloaded resources, but it also includes vids that are cached for playback that never seem to be deleted. Right now I have over 5GB going back to Oct 1, which is a little bit after I last deleted the folder. All of that is vids cached for single playback. No downloaded resources.
A way to find all downloaded resources would be helpful too. It's not easy to remember which ones were downloaded several months later.

I don't bother excluding the resources. They don't change that often. What I don't want to backup is huge files that are constantly changing, like Logos' indexes or caches for streaming music and videos. Even a large external HD can fill up pretty quickly if you make hourly backups of such files. And it's not like I'll ever go looking for older versions.
