I often want to find the number of times a specific Greek or Hebrew word appears in the biblical text. I'm a little foggy on exactly how this is done. Can anyone give me instructions? Thanks.

The Bible Word study does this easily.
Run a Bible Word Study on ἐξομολογέω (for example) and note that it is used 10 times in the text (top red circle).
If you click on "praise" you'll see that it is translated 2 of the 10 times as that English word.
