I created a new reading plan in Logos 6 but it won't sync with either my iPhone or my Android phone. Any ideas?

What type of plan - the generated type or one or the new custom ones avail in L6?

And do you mean you can't see it on the mobile devices or that it isn't so synching?

Some of the new reading plans you can create in Logos 6 are not yet available on Android and iOS (they require some updates to the app code to sync the new data)

Reading plans created on Logos Desktop that are divided by Chapter or Pericope are not supported on mobile, and therefore will not sync.  Custom Reading Plans are also not supported on mobile.

    Will they be supported eventually?

Support for new reading plans is among our top priorities.

It's showing up in the iphone beta app now so I'm hopeful this will get fixed soon. Until then I'm using the YouVersion app for my reading again.

I have been using a custom reading plan I created in logos 4 (or 5, can't remember right now) on my Android devices. This was basically a 3 year reading plan. I am nearing the end of it, but now this custom plan doesn't show up in the Android app. I noticed this the other day when I updated my device and had to reinstall logos on my device. Any idea why custom plans were showing up and now aren't? I am guessing it has something to do with a recent update to the logos app?

    Hi Mark

I'm not aware of any changes in the Android apps which would prevent Logos 4/5 based plans working.

Are you logging in using the same credentials, are other plans visible and synced?

Can you see the plan in the Documents menu on your Android device?

I have a custom Logos 5 reading plan that stopped displaying on the Android home page on my phone a few weeks ago, but the plan is still there and working if I go to the verse it is there.  Can this be fixed?

See the 2 screen shots that I have attached..

Try pressing the "+" icon to the top-right of the Reading Plan panel. Then tap on "Bible Reading Plans" and you should be able to add it back in from there

It's already been a couple of weeks since your post, how much longer until this is resolved? This is a major issue for me.

Logos 6 Reading Plans that are divided by Chapter or Pericope are not yet supported on mobile devices (and neither are Custom reading plans).  We plan on adding additional Reading Plan support but we don't give out dates for when features will be added.  As a workaround, I recommend using reading plans that are supported on mobile devices.

Help me out here, what reading plan created in Logos 6 for a "regular book" is supported on mobile?

I believe the answer is any of the top two options show below - with the exception that if you "Generate a Reading Plan" and then within it choose to segment by chapter or pericope (which I believe are only available for Bible plans) that will not be supported either.

If I have missed anything hopefully Kevin, or someone else, will clarify.

Android 4.4.4:  Nexus 7: Verbum app version 4.4.5 (Build 344): Endless spinning wheel trying to connect to Advent Grace Reading Plan (which is offered as available to connect (blue button) on the home page below Today's Readings.

Also on Nexus 7 unable to update the one resource which appears as available to update: English Standard Version Audio.
(When click Update All it disappears as if preparing to download but download does no take place and is again offered for download when next launching Verbum app.)

Android 5.0: Nexus 5: Verbum app version 4.4.5 (Build 344): Endless spinning wheel when trying to update Today's Readings.
Verbum app took several minutes this morning and was only successful after started Logos app which synced Today's Readings within a few seconds. (is able to access internet and has no trouble downloading resources to local library)
Neither Logos app nor Verbum app on Nexus 5 (Android 5.0) can connect to Verbum's Advent Grace reading plan.

There were issues over the weekend with this resource, does it work now?

Had hoped this Advent Grace Reading Plan would be available on Mobile as the rest of that series of reading plans had been:
(Lenten Grace, Easter Grace, Ordinary Grace weeks 1-17 and Ordinary Grace weeks 18-34 [ which finished last Saturday] ).
    https://www.logos.com/product/26676/the-daughters-of-st-paul-reflections-on-the-daily-readings-collection
It is still being offered (every time I start the Verbum app) directly as a new reading plan at the end of the Todays Readings section before the Verse of the Day graphic.
Can work around that by reading it directly from my Library list on Mobile: works fine on the desktop

Also on Nexus 7 unable to update the one resource which appears as available to update: English Standard Version Audio.  (When click Update All it disappears as if preparing to download but download does no take place and is again offered for download when next launching Verbum app.)

No, still not working here: When click on Update button the line disappears but no download starts....

Yes, but no spinning wheel, just two resources in the Today's Readings list were showing as Loading...  for a major amount of time (until a couple of minutes ago. (new ones I did not add myself to my MOBILE list but one of which once was and is still among my prefered devotionals on my desktop: so not sure what is going on there...) Pictorial Lives of the Saints and Catholic Lectionary. Looks as though Verbum was trying to add/sync items to my Mobile readings list which were defaults on my Desktop (never used to do that, mobile had always been a smaller list that I selected on the Mobile app).  Removed those two unwanted additions manually and the rest seem to sync properly now.

Here is the weird thing - my custom reading plan shows up on my Nexus 6 (running Android 5.0.1) but not on my Nexus 9 (running Android 5.0.1).

Any thoughts on why it would work on some devices and not others - with the exact same version of stock Android?

    Is it a resolution issue?

When you say "custom reading plan" do you mean one created using some of the new Logos 6 features (which shouldn't currently appear on any mobile devices) or something else?

Does the reading plan show in the Documents menu on your Nexus 9 even if it doesn't appear on your homepage?

    Is it a resolution issue?

I would be very surprised if that were the case

I was encouraged to add my request that Custom Reading Plans be supported on mobile apps. I note upon reviewing this thread that this feature is a top priority with the developers, for this I am grateful. As I am reading Calvin's Institutes this year it would be greatly appreciated that this function be supported very soon so that I will be able to read while away from my computer. My reader is a Kindle Fire HD, so I am hopeful that the function will be available for this device soon.

    Thanks

    Here is the weird thing

    Mark:

This partially reflects my experience. As I had noted in another thread, I created a custom reading plan consisting of 10 chapter-based plans merged, and it syncs to both of my Android devices, one of which is running Bible 4.3.9. Dunno why; happy it does.
