Stuck on Nov 5: Verbum: Daily devotional: Co-workers for the Truth
All my other daily devotionals seem to work well, and Co-workers for the Truth used to sync to the correct date, but no longer: For the last several days it has been stuck on Novemver 5 and seems to ignore today's date.

Hey David! First, let me thank you for alerting me to a resource I was not completely aware that I had--Still working through my Ratzinger material from the new base package and hadn't realized this was a devotional! Awesome!
Second, is this set up as a reading plan for you? It was not for me, however, I just opened up the resource and it automatically opened to November 11. fwiw. is it still not working?

Please remove the book and download it locally again to see if it fixes the issue.

This is the Android mobile forum; usually resources work fine on Desktop but sometimes there are mobile-specific issues where they don't work as expected.

The issue is specific to mobile as the date advances as expected on my desktop version.

Removed and downloaded again: advanced now to today's date: will let you know tomorrow if it gets stuck on Nov 11 as its new date or now advances as it should....

This morning both my mobile devices had this stuck on Nov 5. Now that my Nexux 5 phone has advanced to Nov 11 after removing and downloading local again, my Nexus 7 tablet has also advanced to Nov 11 without having to remove and download again (same Android OS version). All others were advancing correctly....

Advanced to Nov 12 on my phone this morning but was still stuck on Nov 11 on my Tablet (on which I had not yet removed and re-downloaded...)

Seems OK this morning, advancing on both tablet and phone to today's date....
The reason it didn't work before was the resource was re-downloaded on only one device. What made it *seem* to work was once you did the reading on the corrected version of the resource, that information was synced to the other devices that still had the broken resource.
In any case, whenever there's a problem with a downloaded resource please update all of your mobile devices or trouble may arise.!
