Who buys the Collectors Edition base package? What was that designed for because that's over $9000 and it's quite expensive for the average Bible studier. Do students from seminaries or pastors that have large churches buy that collection?
Its actually only 2300$ for me, and i've seen others post it was at or near a thousand dollars.CE is the package for the logosian whose been around for a long time and already has many of the titles offered in the lower level base packages.

... and wants MORE!
I doubt anybody would buy that coming out of the starting gate. It's the sort of thing people upgrade to after years of owning Logos with lower level base packages. I have Portfolio, so it's the next logical step up for me, but I'm still weighing whether to get it or not. It would cost me $1,128.09 and I'm not sure the stuff that would be new in it for me is worth that much to me. Much of it is stuff I wouldn't use.

Welcome to the forums James. Feel free to ask Logos related questions. That's what we're here for.
Thanks for the welcome MJ.
In my case, its probably the only way I'd get ICC and Anchor.
The chief attraction of CE is that it enabled me to pick up AYB and 700+ resources for just a little more than the cost of AYB alone. The price and value of this collection will, of course, vary depending on one's interests and existing library.
In my case it would add 1421 resources and cost $5,016.00 I don't have AYB or ICC and many other's..
Logos is more than a library for some of us. I went with Logos in part because I couldn't possibly go to seminary--physically and financially. Even with all of I've bought so far, it's still a drop in the bucket towards a degree.
