Documents not syncing between Logos Mac and iOS...

I have a prayer list on my two Macs, but nothing on iOS Logos

Prayer lists are not currently supported on the iOS Bible! app

Was it just prayer lists you were missing.

Actually, isn't it about time this was added to the iOS app? It's been a couple of years now. Does anyone know what the hold up is? Or is it worth contacting Logos and letting them know someone out there would find this (pretty obvious thing) helpful?

They have said that they will support this in a future app as per https://community.logos.com/forums/p/82374/576545.aspx#576545 but I don't know any timescales.

It's not like I do it every day, (pretty much never, actually) but I wouldn't think it that bad a thing to do

While I have you here, is this the best place to give the Logos guys a nudge about this? Or is there a better way to go about things, like a suggestion page? I remember one somewhere...

Prayer lists are not supported in the Bible app. There is some support for prayer lists in the Faithlife Groups app. You can give us suggestions on our UserVoice page https://logosmobile.uservoice.com.

Thanks Dave. Before I go and post a suggestion... is there a reason the Bible app doesn't have prayer lists? I'm honestly curious. I would have figured it'd be one of the first things to have synced.

I'm not a Logos employee, so don't take this as an "official" response, just my thoughts. [:)]

Many companies are moving to a "multi-app" strategy (see Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) and breaking up mobile functionality into multiple, task-based apps. One of the biggest advantages of this that I see is app size & speed. If I don't use prayer lists in Logos, having them included in my Bible! app is just extra bloat that's increasing how much space the app is taking up on my phone and it's making the code for that app more complex for the developers. On the other hand, if I ONLY use prayer lists from Logos, I don't want to download the entire reader app (which is quite large). I'd rather have a focused app that gives me just my prayer lists. On Android especially, it's possible for separate apps to integrate very closely; so if you have the (hypothetical) prayer list app installed, it could seamlessly show your prayer lists in the "Documents" tab of the Bible! app, and clicking one would open it in the prayer list app.

I'd love to see Logos take this approach with prayer lists in particular, and maybe even with other desktop features. I imagine the only thing holding them back right now is a lack of development resources...there's TONS of cool things that could happen on mobile at Logos...the question is just how to prioritize them (again, just my two cents) [:)]
