Word List Sections??
Alright, so I posted this in the iPhone/iPad Apps forum and was told by a Logos/Faithlife employee to post it here too. So here it goes:
I am trying to figure out how to customize sections with Logos Word Lists. I've created a word list based on the book of Jonah, and when I load that word list into the Logos Vocab Flashcards App, I see my new list, and when I tap the info icon, I see that it says “Sections to Memorize (1 of 1)” as you can see in the screenshot:
When I tap on that, it takes me to this screen that says "Unnamed Section" as you can see here:
I am simply wondering, how do I name that section and customize other sections for this word list? Thanks in advance for any help! Blessings!

I see that I can export the entire word list to Excel as an XML file, and then in Excel I can easily set all my sections quickly, but I see no option to import back into word lists from Excel. Am I missing something?
The Print/Export facility doesn't import and Logos only has the facility to Import from Libronix (Logos 3)

It would be a real pain to have to add the same section name for each item you want to be in that section.
I'm not sure how that is populated in Logos 5/6 but there is no way to edit multiple items.

Hmmm... that's what I was afraid the answer would be. It seems like this should be fixed, otherwise the whole feature is pretty useless. It looks like a very nice feature that could be useful if you were actually able to use it conveniently. It's just not worth it to manually edit 200+ entries one at a time.

I think some would find this not to be an issue, and it's a one-time effort.
Another idea could be to create an Excel-based wordlist (like the ones Logos themselves have on their website - when it's up - since L3 days, so google for vocabulary lists), e.g. export to Excel, fill the section column and (re-)import it into Logos.
Have joy in the Lord!

NB.Mick, how do you import into Logos? It sounds like you have figured out how to do it. If I could figure that out, then the problem would be solved. Can you please share the steps on how to do it or point me to a link that explains it?
Thanks so much in advance!

Timothy – I am dealing with the exact same issue right now. A small tweak (add a section to a selection of words) would take this feature from moderately useful to extremely useful. Let's hope this is on the roadmap and that someone figures out a workaround.
