Propositional Outline ... Question on Consistency

Hi,

I am new to using the new Propositional Outline in Logos 6. Reading the very similar "greetings" by the same author in 1 Thessalonians 1:1 and 2 Thessalonians 1:1 it appears to be inconsistent (?). Or is there something that I missed? Thanks for educating me Smile

Also I think it's best that you take the Outline as something for you to consider only. This kind of analysis is helpful, but even if internal inconsistencies are ironed out there are many places where different opinions will be split 50/50.

Thanks, got your point ... there may be different opinions that we need deal with [:)]. Nonetheless, I certainly hope that the way Propositional Outlines get done in Logos 6, should have sound basis (even if we disagree) and better be consistent if we we want this to be useful to the community.

50/50 - good point! Many they could be treated like 'textual variants' Eg. means or manner?, you be the judge.

If you're into text-linguistics you'd know that sometimes it's not 50/50 but rather 100/100! Anyway, there's a reason why people write entire books on this subject... [:D]

Good point. as well as 60/40 etc. where the weight falls more on one than another.

Is there a place to report Errata? For example Eph. 5:14 marks the phrase "and Christ will shine on you." as a "Command." Would it not better be 'Result' or 'Consequence?'
